A chic brasserie atmosphere in Antwerp
In the docklands of Antwerp, the restaurant Het Pomphuis is a 15 minute drive from our Arass Hotel★★★ & Business Flats.
The unique setting of this former pumping station of the industrial port will seduce you at first sight! The building housed naval centrifugal pumps in the 1920s and was decommissioned in 1982. Classified as a monument thanks to its architectural style (large space with a 7 meters deep well, high arched windows…), the building was not destroyed and in 2002, the project of a bar-restaurant was validated.
The menu is reduced and evolves over the months, which allows us to offer our customers a tasty cuisine with seasonal products.
In addition to the à la carte dishes, Het Pomphuis offers a lunch menu (2 courses: 34 € / 3 courses: 39 €) as well as a tasting menu at 75 € including 4 courses, without drinks.
The sommelier will be able to advise you with a wide choice of wines from all over the world.
